Ferozpur Cantonment Board will conduct a Written exam for recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil). Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Students facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare” to give their best in their exams. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of JE (Civil) Exam conducting by Ferozpur Cantonment Board.
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the Junior Engineer written Exam is as Follows:-
- Written Exam will comprise two stages- Stage-I & Stage-II.
- Stage-I carries 100 objective type multiple choice question. There would be negative marking of 25%.
- Stage-II written test which is of Conventional (subjective).
- Stage-I and Stage-II carries 270 marks and 300 marks respectively.
- The Duration for Stage-I and Stage-II will be 120 Minutes and 150 Minutes respectively.
- There will also be an interview after written test.
Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for Junior Engineer (Civil) written Exam is given below:-
General English : The syllabus of General English would include questions of English up to the level of Matriculation or 10th.
General Intelligence & Reasoning : The syllabus for General intelligence would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment,. decision making’ visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concept, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, arithmetical computations and other analytical functions.
General Awareness : Questions will be aimed at testing the candidate, general awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries specialty pertaining to History, culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity and scientific Research etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
