Indian Space & Research Organization is going to conduct an exam on 15.10.2017 for Assistants, Upper Division Clerks. As the eligible qualification for these posts is graduation, so exam will be based on standard of same. But the competition level is now increased. Candidates who applied against these posts must have to prepare for their exam very wisely. Here we are giving the idea of exam pattern and syllabus of Assistant Exam which can help you to be prepared yourself for test.
Exam Pattern :- There is only One Written Exam For the Assistant Post. Written Exam will be in two Parts.
Part A :- There will be 90 Objective Type Questions in the exam. Questions will be asked from:-
(i) General English (ii) General Knowledge (iii) Arithmetic (iv) Reasoning (v) Computer Literacy
Part B :- This Part will be Descriptive by Nature.It is test of understanding of English Comprehension Of Candidates. There are only 3 Questions in this part from English Languages.
Exam Syllabus :- ISRO Assistant Exam Syllabus will be as follows :
Part A
General English : Questions will be asked from Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction fill in the blanks, Misspell word, One word Substitution, Active & Passive Voice, Preposition etc.
General Awareness : Questions will be asked from Indian History, Current Events, Indian Polity, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge.
Arithmetic : Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart.
Reasoning : Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.
Computer Literacy : This part is to check candidate familiarity with computer. Question will be ask from computer basic, input, output, memory, Software, BIOS, Internet, MS word, MS excel etc.
Part B
There will be 3 Questions in this Part. Questions will be of Essay Writing, Passage Comprehension Questions & Answer type, Letter Writing.
