NHRC Exam Syllabus 2014
National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) will conduct a Written exam for recruitment of posts of Stenographer Grade-D and Staff Car Driver. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Candidates facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare”. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Steno and Driver Exam conducting by NHRC.
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for Stenographer Grade-D written Exam is as Follows:-
► The written test will be multiple choice/objective type.
► The Time Duration will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes).

► There will be Skill Test for stenographer and Car Driver.
Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for Stenographer Grade-D written Exam is given below :-
General Intelligence & Reasoning : Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.
General Awareness : History, Geography and Socio Economic development of Himachal Pradesh. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India.
English Language & Comprehension : Verb, preposition, adverb, subject verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks with articles etc., comprehension, answering questions based on unseen passage, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage, vocabulary & grammar, Proficiency in the language.
Skill Test for Stenographer Grade-D :
Dictation for 10 minutes in English/Hindi at the speed of 80 w.p.m.
Transcription time: 50 minutes (English) and 65 minutes (Hindi)
Visually handicapped persons -75 minutes(English) and 100 minutes (Hindi)
Skill Test for Staff Car Driver :
Skill Test (driving test) followed by Interview.
