Punjab Revenue Department is going to recruit Revenue Patwari through written test. Punjab Revenue Department has announced 2084 Vacancies for Revenue Patwari & Canal Patwari. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Students facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare” to give their best in their exams. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Revenue Patwari Exam conducting by DLR, Punjab.
Selection Process :- All candidates will take the Written Test, which will be conducted at the examination centres located at any district of Punjab State. The Selection of the candidates will be strictly on the basis of Merit in the Written Test. Weightage of written test shall be 100% marks for consideration of merit in selection.
Exam Pattern :- Punjab Revenue Patwari Exam Pattern will be :
- In Written Exam will be two (2) hours duration consisting of 100 questions.
- The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
- The medium of examination will be English (except questions of Punjabi Language subject).
- There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer, 1/4th mark would be deducted.
- Criteria for the written test will be as under:-

Exam Syllabus :- Punjab Patwari Exam Syllabus is as follows :
General Knowledge : In this objective of questions about general knowledge of surrounding society of the candidates to test the awareness about surrounding activities. Questions will also be included towards a scientist sight and thinking which expected from an educated person. So, candidates should must focus on affairs about India and its adjacent countries too. Scientific Progress/Development, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Books, Script, Capital, Currency, Sports-Athlete such as essential knowledge.
Mental Ability : Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning
Arithmetic Skills : The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc. A part of accounting will also be their i.e. questions related to debtors, creditors, assets and liabilities, capital, balance sheet, trail balance etc.
English/ Punjabi Language : Candidates’ ability to understand correct language, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc.
Computer/IT : Computer Fundamentals, Windows (MS-Windows), MS-Office : Word Processing (MS-Word), Spread Sheet (MS-Excel), Presentation Knowledge (MS-Power Point), MS Access and Usage of Internet Services available on Internet, Communication Technology, Networking Concepts.
Agriculture : Questions will be asked from Basic things, Facts of Rural Areas. Candidates need to Prepare Topics like : Type of Lands, Type of Crops, Categories of land, Chain, Irrigation Methods, Areas of Land (Hectare, Acre, Beegha) etc.
