About Recruitment & Notification No. 27/2018:

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission  (APPSC) has recently announced about the Recruitment of 169 Posts of under Group 1 Services. There are many Candidates who filled there Online Application form for these Posts. The Process of Application Submission is Started From the Date 07/01/2019 & 27/01/2019. Here we are Sharing the Direct Link to Check the Detailed Recruitment so that the Candidates will check every information about the Recruitment.

Exam Information:

There are many Candidates who filled the Application form and will face the Exam. Tentatively the Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) is likely to be held on 10/03/2019 in offline mode. Tentatively the Main examination (Conventional type) likely to be held from 10/06/2019 to 22/06/2019. More Details about the Examination is provided below.

Selection Process:

Admit Card :

Without having a admit card no one Candidate will be allowed to give the Examination so all the Candidates must download their admit card before the examination date. No one admit Card will be send to the Candidates so all the Candidates must download it from the official website of APPSC. Soon it will be available on the website before the examination date. Preliminary Exam Pattern: The Exam Pattern will be as follows:

  • Screening Test (Objective Type) Paper – I General Studies.
  • Paper – I consists of 04 parts i.e., ABCD each part carries 30 marks.
    1. History and Culture.
    2. Constitution polity, Social Justice and International relations.
    3. Indian and Andhra Pradesh Economy and Planning.
    4. Geography.
  • Paper – I Carry 120 Questions / Marks.
  • The Time Duration of Paper – I is 120 Minutes.
  • Screening Test (Objective Type) Paper -II General Aptitude.
  • Paper -II consists 2 parts i.e., A and B each part carries 60 Marks (Part- A – 60 Marks, Part – B (i) – 30 Marks and B (ii) – 30 Marks).
    • General Mental Ability, Administrative and Psychological Abilities.
    • (i) Science and Technologies.
      (ii) Current events of Regional, National and International importance
  • Paper – II Carry 120 Questions / Marks.
  • The Time Duration of Paper – II is 120 Minutes.
  • NEGATIVE MARKS for each wrong answer will be penalized with 1/3 rd of the marks prescribed for the question.

Education Qualification:-

03 He holds a bachelor’s Degree of any University in India established or Incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a St ate Act or of an Institution recognized by the UGC or equivalent qualification.
04 Must possess a Degree of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, or State Act or other recognized equivalent qualifications.
05 He holds a Degree of Engineering (Fire) of any University recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other equivalent qualifications.  Provided that if no candidates with B.E (Fire) qualification are available, candidates with the Degree in any discipline will be considered. As per Rule – 5 (i)(ii) of G.O.Ms.No.574, Home (Prisons .A) Dept., dated: 30.09.1991.
06 A degree in Commerce or Economics or Mathematics of a University Recognized by the UGC with at least a 2nd class in the subject, or A Chartered Accountants of the United Kingdom or India or an  incorporated  Accountant  (London)

Application Fee:-

Applicant must pay Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) towards application processing fee and Rs. 80/- (Rupees eighty only) towards examination fee.

However, the following categories of candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee Rs.80/- only.

  1. SC, ST, BC, PH & Ex-Service Men.
  2. Families having household supply white card issued by Civil Supplies Department, A.P. Government. (Residents of Andhra Pradesh).
  3. Un-employed youth as per G.O.Ms.No.439, G.A (Ser- A) Dept., dated: 18/10/1996 should submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission.
  4. Applicants belonging to the categories mentioned above (except Physically Handicapped Persons & Ex-Service Men) hailing from other States are not entitled for exemption from payment of fee and not entitled for claiming any kind of reservation.
  5. Candidates belonging to other States shall pay the prescribed fee of Rs.80/- (Rupees eighty only), along with processing fee of Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) through different channels as indicated at Para -8. Otherwise such applications will not be considered and no correspondence on this will be entertained.

Mode of Payment of Fee:-

  1. The fee mentioned in the above paragraph is to be paid online using payment gateway using net banking/ credit card / debit card. The list of banks providing service for the purpose of online remittance of fee will be available on the website.
  2. The fee once remitted shall not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Failure to pay the examination fee and application fee (in non- exempt case) will entail total rejection of application.
  3. IPOs / Demand Drafts are not accepted.

Note: In case of corrections Rs.100/- per correction will be charged. However changes are not allowed for name, fee and age relaxation.

How to Apply:

Interested eligible candidates should apply Online only. Any other mode of submission of application would not be accepted For detailed advertisement & procedure log on to www.psc.ap.gov.in. Candidates applying for the first time for any notification has to first fill the OTPR application carefully to obtain OTPR ID. The applicant has to login in the Commission’s website with the user name (OTPR ID) and the Password set by Candidate. After Login, the applicant has to click on the “Online Application Submission” present in the bottom right corner of the Commission’s website.
