AAI Junior Assistant Syllabus 2018
Airports Authority of India invited the Candidates who are Domicile of Telangana, Lakshadweep Island, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Pondicherry & Lakshadweep to fill up the 186 post of Junior Assistant (Fire Service) & Senior Assistant (Electronics) airports in the above states in Southern Region. The Online Application Process was Started From 16.06.2018 and the Last Date for Submitting Online Application Form is 15.07.2018. About Exam:
AAI Will Conducted the Online Computer Based Written Examination for all those Eligible Candidates who Successfully Submitted there Online Application Form. Date of Examination will be Announce Later. More Details about the Exam is provided below.

Exam Pattern: The Exam Pattern is as Follows:
- The Exam will be Online Computer Based Written Type.
- The Exam will be of 02 Hours Time Duration.

Note : The Minimum Pass Marks will be 50 out of 100 for General/OBC Candidates and 40 Out of 100 for SC/ ST Candidates.
Senior Assistant (Electronics)
- The Exam will be Written Objective Type (CBT).
- The Exam will be of 100 marks.
- The Question paper will be based on 70% educational qualification & 30% General Knowledge, General Aptidutude, English Etc.
- The Time Duration of Exam 02 Hours.
Note:- Minimum pass marks will be 50 out of 100 for UR /OBC candidates and 40 out of 100 for SC/ST candidates.
Physical Endurance Test for Junior Assistant
(i) 100 m Running (ii) Rope climbing (iii) Pole climbing (iv) 60 m running with human dummy (v) Full ladder climbing
Note:-
a. 100 meters running is required to be completed in 15 seconds by male candidates, failing which they will be disqualified.
b. 100 meters running is required to be completed in 20 seconds by female candidates, failing which they will be disqualified.
c. Candidate shall secure minimum 60 marks out of 100 marks to qualify in endurance test.
Exam Syllabus: The Exam Syllabus is as Follows:
Junior Assistant (Fire Service)
Basic Arithmetic:
Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart.
Basic Science:
The questions will be based on generally on Physics of general standard like weight, mass, volume, refection, refraction, transparency, law of motion and gravitation etc. Chemistry like chemical reaction, different acids, bases and gases, salt, metals and non-metals, chemical formula balancing and their facts etc. Biology like human body structure, bacterias and diseases and their symptoms etc.
Elementary English/ Grammar:
Questions will be aimed to test Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc
General Knowledge:
Questions will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general Knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity and Scientific Research, etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
Senior Assistant (Electronics)
General Knowledge:-
In the paper of general knowledge the objective type question will be based on general information of Madhya Pradesh in addition to knowledge of national and international, mathematics, history, geography, economics, political science, social studies with questions based on general aptitude, reasoning and general intelligence ability etc.
Quantitative Aptitude:
The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be the computation of whole numbers, decimals fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and distance, Time & Work, Basic algebraic identities of School.
English/ Grammar:
Questions will be aimed to test Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Venn Diagrams, Drawing inferences, Punched hole/pattern – folding & unfolding, Figural Pattern – folding and completion, Indexing, Address matching, Date & city matching, Classification of centre codes/roll numbers, Small & Capital letters/numbers coding, decoding and classification, Embedded Figures, Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence.
