About Jammu & Kashmir Board :-

The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (abbreviated as JKSBSE or J & K BOSE) is the main board of school education in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is based in Jammu & Srinagar and is an autonomous body under the administration of the state government of Jammu and Kashmir. The board gives affiliation to more than 10,609 schools across the state and employs 22,300 teachers.

► The board is empowered to specify the courses of instruction and create syllabi for them, and to select textbooks for the elementary, and secondary schools and for the higher secondary (school gradation) school examinations; to conduct public examinations and publish the results at the secondary school and higher secondary levels

Note:

• The external practical examination in all the concerned subjects shall be conducted by the respective affiliated institution at their own level immediately after the termination of theory examination and submit the award rolls internal and external practical’s to the Joint Secretary, Secrecy, JD within 15 days from termination of examination.
• Music/Painting/Art & Drawing and Home Science is meant for Blind/Deaf and Dumb candidates only in lieu of Mathematics and Science.
• The Examinees are advised to wear face mask and adhere to social distancing norms.
• The Examinees: are advised to adhere to the instructions strictly given on the back side of the admit cards to be issued to them in due course of time and bring the same (Admit Card) on all days of examination for verification.
• All Heads of Govt./Private [institutions of Jammu Division (Summer Zone areas ) shall collect the Admit cards of their candidates from the concerned BOSE Sub/Branch Offices, .Jammu Division rv.e.f 22-03 -2021.
• All the Superintendents/ Heads of the Institution (Overall In charge) of examination centres shall ensure complete sanitization of Desk’s/Examination Hall/Rooms one day before the commencement of examination and strictly follow the SOP’ Administration/Health Department from time to time.
