Weight :- Proportionate to height and age as per Medical Standards & Must be Physical fit and have a positive attitude for the job.

Physical Efficiency Test:

For the Post Of Forester Grade-I, Forest Guard, AAFPF Constable, Driver Constable & Driver.

Candidates who clear PST, will be required to undergo PET. The PET consists of the following: The Physical Efficiency Test will carry 40 marks. It will have 2 (two) events viz

Task / Event	Male Candidates	Female Candidates
Race :	Those who qualify in the PST will be Subjected to 3200 metres race to be completed within 14 minutes.	Those who qualify in the PST will be Subjected to 1600 metres race to be completed within 08 minutes.
Long Jump :	Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).	Minimum 224 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).

For the Posts Of Cook, Water Carrier, Dhubi, Barber, Pump Operator, Electrician, Plumber, Peon, Dak Runner, Jugali.

All the Shortlisted Candidates will have to appear in the PST (Physical Standard Test). It will carry no marks. Measurement of the height, weight & chest (Chest measurement is only for male) of the candidates will be done using latest technology and after which the candidate will be examined by a Medical Officer for preliminary check-ups like Knocked Knee, Vision Test, Colour Blindness Test, Flatfoot, Varicose Vein, Physical Deformities etc. Once a candidate clears the PST, he/she will have to appear in the next Trade Efficiency Test in their respective trade.

Driving Test (Skill Test) For Driver Constable & Driver Posts

Candidates will be called for the Driving Test (Skill Test) in order of merit based on marks scored in PET at the rate of 10 (ten) times the number of posts allotted in respect of each category.

• Starting a Light Transport vehicle from rest on the level up gradient and down gradient :- 1 Marks.
• Gear changing up & down :- 1 marks
• Road sense, general driving, control of vehicle in all condition of traffic & steering control, anticipation & judgment :- 2 marks.
• Use of brakes, stopping, parking, reversing of vehicle :- 1 mark
• Following Road Police Signals / Traffic Signals :- 1 mark
• To carry out minor repairs & to attend to breakdown problems :- 1.5 marks
• Knowledge of Motor Vehicle Mechanism :- 1.5 marks
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance :- 1 marks

Written Test :

Only For the Post Of Forester Grade-I, Forest Guard, AAFPF Constable, Driver Constable & Driver.

All the Qualified Candidates In Physical Test (PET/ PST) will be called for Written Test in order of merit at the rate of 5 (five) times the number of posts allotted in respect of each category.

Exam Pattern for the Written Exam is as Follows:-

1. The Exam Will be Objective Type.
2. Written Test Will Consist of 100 multiple Choice Type Questions.
3. Time Duration of the Written Test will be of 3 (Three) hours.
4. The Questions Paper For Written Exam will be the Following Language; Assamese/ Bodo/ Bengali/English.
5. Subjects as given below.
   • i. Elementary /Arithmetic
   • ii. General English
   • iii. Logical reasoning/Mental ability
   • iv. Assam’s History, Geography, Polity, Economy
   • v. General Awareness/General Knowledge and current affairs

Walking Test for the Post Of Forester Grade-I & Forest Guard :

Candidates appeared in the Written Test for the posts of Forester Grade-I & Forest Guard will have to attend Walking Test comprising of 26 K.Ms (for males) and 16 K.Ms (for female) to be covered within 4 (four) hours. The Walking Test will be qualifying nature only and it will carry no marks.

C. National Cadet Corps (NCC) :- 

National  Cadet  Corps (NCC)	Max Marks – 05 (five)
NCC ‘C’ Certificate	05 (Five) marks
NCC ‘B’ Certificate	3 (three) marks
NCC ‘A’ Certificate	2 (two) marks

ORAL / VIVA-VOCE :
