Application are invited from eligible Candidates for filling up of 211 Post + 333 Posts (Total 544 Vacancies) Constable (Grade III), Constable of Police (Communication), Constable (Driver), Constable (Dispatch Rider), Constable (Handymen), Constable (Messenger), Constable (Carpenter) in APRO and Sub-Officer, Emergency Rescuer under Fire & Emergency Services. Age Limit For Assam Police Constable Posts :- (As on 01.01.2023)
Candidates Age Should be Minimum 18 Years To Maximum 25 Years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998).

Relaxations : Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST(H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
(iii) Additional relaxation of 3 (three) years in respect of trained Home Guards who have served for a period of 3 (three) years or more for the candidates who apply for the posts of Constables in APRO only.
