All those Candidates Who Filled there Application Form and Found Eligible Will gave the Exam Soon. The Exam Date Is Announced on the Official Website of Assam Police TO Be Conducted On —/—/2023. The Exam Will be Divided in Various Stage. Firstly the Written Exam Will be Conducted. About Assam Police SI Written Exam Details :
Exam Pattern : The Exam Pattern Will be as Follows:
- The Exam Will be Written Objective Type.
- The Exam Will be of 100 Questions and each question will be of 1 (one) mark.
- The questions will be set in three parts (i) Logical reasoning, aptitude, comprehension (ii) Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India and (iii) General Knowledge.
- The Time Duration of the test will be of 3 (three) hours.
- There will be negative marking of ½ mark for each wrong answer.
Assam Police Sub Inspector Syllabus 2023 :
The Exam Syllabus Will be as Follows:
Logical reasoning : Questions will be from topics- Analogies, Similarities, Differences, Space visualization, Problem solving, Analysis and Judgment, Decision-making, Visual memory, Discrimination, Observation, Relationship, Concepts, Arithmetical reasoning, Verbal and figure classification, Arithmetical number series, Abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, Arithmetical computations and other analytical functions.
Aptitude : Focus on Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements.
Comprehension : Candidates Should solve the Comprehensions according to there Ability. The Exam Will be Conducted for measuring the Candidates Comprehension.
Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India : major wildlife sanctuary and national park, major rivers, irrigation planning, major tourism (forts, palaces, ancient notable and natural places, caves, mausoleum etc.) Major personalities of Assam (political, sportsmen, artist, administration, author, litterateur, social worker etc.)
General Knowledge : History, Geography and Socio Economic development of West Bengal & India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India.
Assam Police SI Physical Standard Test :
The PST will Carry No Marks. Measurement of the height, weight and chest (only for Males) of the candidates will be taken after which the candidate will be inspected by a medical officer for preliminary checkup like knocked knee, vision test, color blindness test, flat foot, varicose vein, physical deformities etc.

Assam Police SI Physical Efficiency Test :
The Physical Efficiency Test will carry 40 marks. It will have 2 (two) events viz.
Male candidates:
a) Race: Those who qualify in the PST will have to appear in 1600 meters race to be completed within 450 seconds. Maximum qualifying time 450 seconds.
b) Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
Female Candidates :
a) Race : Those who qualify in the PST will have to appear in 800 meters race to be completed within 240 seconds . Maximum qualifying time – 240 seconds.
b) Long Jump : Minimum 244 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
Proficiency in Computer
Max Marks – 30 (thirty)
(a) Academic – 10 marks
(b) Field Practical (Practical test of each candidate on computer) – 20 (twenty) marks.
Extra Curricular Activities
Max Marks – 30 (thirty)
A. National Cadet Corps (NCC) – Maximum Marks – 05 (Five)
B. Home Guards – Maximum Marks – 05 (Five)
C. Sports – Maximum Marks – 10 (Ten)
D. Extra Academic Achievements: – Maximum 10 Marks.
