About BHU Exam
The Banaras Hindu University shall conduct the Undergraduate Entrance Test during Aug/Sep 2020 for admission to various Undergraduate Courses and Postgraduate Entrance Test from Aug/Sep 2020 for admission to various Postgraduate Courses. Admission will be on merit in the UET /PET subject to fulfillment of eligibility requirements of the Course for which the candidate has applied.
The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has invited Online Applications for admission to its various under Graduate, Post Graduate and Diploma/ Certificate Programs for Academic Session 2020-2021. Check BHU Counseling Process
The University will adopt a computerized counseling procedure for admissions to various courses during the academic session 2020-21. The counseling procedure will involve the following steps:
STEP 1 : Online Preference Entry (on or after the issue of Call Letter and before the Counseling Date)
Every candidate called for counseling for admission to a Course shall be required to fill up an online Preference Entry Form which will be and act on the Candidate‟ segment of the Entrance Test Portal www.bhuonline.in for online preference entry after they have received the password. Honors Subject Subject Combination, Preference of location, Seat Type.
STEP 2 : Activity on the day of Counselling
Reach the counseling venue at the prescribed time/date given in this Call letter. Contact the Counseling Center/Venue Incharge and mark your attendance by signing the attendance sheet available with the Counseling Center Incharge. Fill Te Preference Entry Form. Preference Entry Form once signed and confirmed by a Candidate on the Counseling Date shall be final and shall not be changed later. After the candidate has received the provisional admission letter from the Counseling Center/Venue Incharge Candidate Will Submit Admission Fee.
STEP 3 : Activity on next day of Counseling date
Candidates must submit the proof of payment of admission fee to the Counseling Centre/Venue Incharge latest by 04:00 pm on the next day of the Counseling (deadline for payment of Fee). After each day of counseling and fee payment deadline, computerized allotment/rearrangement of seats in order of merit and based on the preference of candidates and availability of seats will be done. This will be done automatically by the computer. The final allotment will be done by the computer only after the expiry of the payment deadline of the last date of counseling.
