About Exam:
Bihar Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC Bihar) has successfully conducted the Written Exam for the Posts of Forest Guard (Vanrakshi) on 16 December 2020.
Now, the candidates who qualified this Exam are waiting for the Physical Efficiency Test / Physical Standard Test, so that they can prepare

Selection Process:
- Written Exam (लिखित परीक्षा)
- Physical Examination/ Efficiency Test (शारीरिक परीक्षण / दक्षता परीक्षा )

Exam Pattern:
The Exam Pattern Will be as Follows:
- The Exam Will be Written Objective Type.
- There Will be 100 Question in Exam. (Part – 1 (30 Questions – 120 marks), Part – 2 (25 Questions – 100 marks), Part – 3 (25 Questions – 100 marks) & Part – 4 (20 Questions – 80 marks))
- Each Question Will be of 04 Marks.
- The Time Duration of Exam Will be 02 Hours.
- Question Paper Will be based on 10+2 Standard.
- There Will be a Negative Marking of 1/3 Marks.
- Question Paper Will be Bilingual i.e. Hindi & English.
Minimum Qualifying Marks –
- General Category – Minimum 40% Marks
- OBC – Minimum 36.5% Marks
- EBC – Minimum 34% Marks
- SC/ST & Female of all categories – Minimum 32% Marks

The Exam Syllabus Will be as Follows:
Part – 1 (30 Questions – 120 marks)
- Current events of national and international importance. (6 – Questions – 24 marks)
- History of India and Indian National Movement. (6 – Questions – 24 marks)
- Geography – Physical, Social, Economic Geography of Bihar, India and the World. (6 – Questions – 24 marks)
- Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc. (6 – Questions – 24 marks)
- Economic and Social development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc. (6 – Questions – 24 marks)
Part – 2 (25 Questions – 100 marks)
- Basic numeracy (numbers and their relation, orders of magnitude etc.) – (Matriculation or equivalent level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc, – Matriculation or equivalent level) 3 (15 – Questions – 60 marks)
- Logical reasoning and analytical ability. (5 – Questions – 20 marks)
- General mental ability. (5 – Questions – 20 marks)
Part – 3 ( 25 Questions – 100 marks)
- General science – (Matriculation or equivalent level) (20 – Questions – 80 marks)
- General issues on Environment, Ecology, Bio – diversity and Climate Change – that do not require subject specialization. (5 – Questions – 20 marks)
Part – 4 (20 Questions – 80 marks)
- Knowledge of Hindi language – The aim of the paper is to test the candidates ability to read and understand serious discursive prose, and to express his ideas clearly and correctly in the language.
- Comprehension of given passages.
- Usage and Vocabulary.
- Hindi Grammar.
