About Exam:
There Will be No Written Exam for the Above Posts of Line Attendant. Candidates Will be Shortlisted on the Basis of Merit List.
Selection Process:
- According to the online applications received for the posts of Attendant (Line), candidates will be awarded 70 percent marks (up to two digits after decimal) of the total marks obtained in class X.
- Such candidates working on the post of line attendant (contract) in Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited, who have done ‘Shiropari Vidyut Anusthan’ from Chhattisgarh Licensing Board (Electrical), Government of Chhattisgarh. Bonus marks will be awarded as per the following calculation of work experience of such candidates on the basis of last date of submission of online application of such candidates.

Line attendant (contractual) personnel can obtain prescribed experience certificate from their divisional offices, so that during online application, head permission and experience certificate will be uploaded in the designated place.
- The merit list prepared on the basis of total percentage of marks obtained in class X (10th) of the candidates and the bonus marks of experience as mentioned in sub-paragraph 10(ii) above is three times the number of categories of advertised posts. will be called for verification and physical efficiency test.
- The candidates found eligible in the verification of documents will be called for the test. That is, the candidates will be included in the Physical Efficiency Test.
- The candidate will be included only if the candidate is found in the examination before the physical efficiency test.
- The Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted at the candidate’s own risk, for which the candidate will have to produce the consent form at the time of document verification. No marks will be awarded in Physical Efficiency Test.
- Physical Efficiency Test is only a qualifying examination, but it is mandatory to be successful in the said qualifying examination. The physical efficiency test will be as follows:
- The test of climbing a 13 meter high standing electric pole without the help of a ladder in 20 minutes.
- Test of walking half (½) kilometer in 15 minutes carrying a sack weighing 25 kilograms.
- Merit list of successful candidates in Physical Efficiency Test will be prepared as mentioned in sub-para 10(iii) above. From the merit list, the advertised posts will be filled according to the reservation roster of Chhattisgarh government.
- The percentage of marks will be calculated up to two digits after the decimal. In case the percentage of marks is same, the name of the senior candidate will be placed above in the order of preference on the basis of date of birth of the candidates. In case the percentage of marks and date of birth are same, the rank of the candidate will be determined in the order of English on the basis of first letter of English name of the candidates.
Merit List:
Merit List Will be Made on the Basis of Candidates Percentage of Marks in 10th Class. After Making the Merit List Selected Candidates Will be Called for the Document Verification (DV) & Successful Candidates will be Called for Physical Standard Test (PST).
