About Recruitment :-
Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board has announced the Recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil). There was 204 total number of vacancies. A large number of Interested and eligible candidates applied for these post. The closing date for submission of online application till the date of 15/10/2019. Many candidates were applied for these post in DSSSB.
About Exam :-
Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board has conduct the Tier 1 exam for Assistant Engineer & Junior Engineer Posts. The Written Exam was Conducted Successfully. The written test was consist 200 multiple choice question/ Marks. The time duration of test was 02:00 hours (120 minutes). There was a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. Many candidates were appeared in the examination.
About Selection Process :-
The selection shall be made through One Tier and Two Tier examination scheme and Skill Test, wherever applicable.
About Written Exam Qualifying Marks :-
The minimum qualifying marks for one Tier/Two Tier written examination (Objective/ Descriptive Type) is as under (pls. refer notification dated 26/04/2013 available on the website of the Board) :-
- General : 40%
- OBC (Delhi) :35%
- SC/ST/PH (PwD) :30%
- Ex-servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories subject to a minimum of 30%.
- Selection will be based on Merit of Written Exam & Interview.
About DSSSB JE Cut Off Marks :-
Applicants of the post codes 15/17 & 16/17 must have to qualify in Section A & B separately as per their category (UR/OBC/SC/ST/PH/ExSm) minimum qualifying marks. However, final merit will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks of both the section A & B (pls. refer notices dated 28/7/2017 available on the website of the Board). The Board reserves its right to prescribe a minimum cut off mark for any post as per the availability of candidates.
