About Board Of Himachal Pradesh :

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala came into existence in 1969 as per Himachal Pradesh Act No. 14 of 1968 with its head-quarter at Shimla later shifted to Dharamshala in January 1983. The Board started with a staff of 34 officials which has subsequently increased to 643. The Education Board prescribes syllabus, courses of instructions and text books for school education in Himachal Pradesh besides conducting examinations based on courses listed. At present, the Board conducts examination for the following classes and courses: 10th, 10+2, J.B.T and T.T.C. As many as 5 Lakh candidates annually appear in the examination conducted by the Board. Presently more than 8000 schools are affiliated with the Board

Eligibility Criteria For HP Scholarship :

• Candidates must be Domicile Or have a permanent Address/ Resident Of Himachal Pradesh State.
• They Must Be Belong From one of these Categories – SC/ST/OBC.
• They Must Be Studying From the Recognized College Or University Of Himachal Pradesh  State.

Registration Process :

Carefully Read the Instructions Before Applying for Scholarship. Individual Filling up the Form would be Responsible for Any Discrepancy.

• Firstly, You need to Visit official Website of Himachal Pradesh Scholarship.
• Candidates Should Click on the Student Option
• Select, “Download Scholarships Forms”Click button
• Enter Roll No. into the text Box.
• Enter Aadhar Card Number to the text box.
• Select Class Into the Drop Down List.
• Check option, Is received any other Scholarship Yes/No.
• Then, Read all the instructions mentioned on page.
• In registration window, All Details about the Institute Should be Correct and then Click for Submitting.
• After completion of Registration process you will get “Account Activation Link” on your email account, you mentioned during the process of Registration.

Steps to Access the scholarship Portal

• Enter Roll No in the text box.
• Enter Mobile number in the text box.
• Enter Aadhar card number in the text box.
• Select Academic Year in the drop down list.
• Select Academic Session in to the drop down list.
• Select Class in the drop down list.
• Check option, Is received any other Scholarship Yes/No.
• Click on “Apply Button” to Generate form & download scholarship form.
  Take Print out of scholarship form.

Fill the scholarship form.

• After filling get it attested and verified by the Principal of the institution
  where studying.
  Steps for uploading Scanned attested scholarship form
• Select Attach Attested downloaded form check button.
• Enter roll no and click on the Filter button to get student detail.
• Attached scanned attested Scholarship form copy, by clicking on Browse
  button.
• Click on Update button.
