HPPSC Had Released The Notification About The Recruitment Of 54 Vacancies For The Post Of Inspector, Election Kanungo And Extension Officer. Many Interested & Eligible Candidates Filled their Online Application form for these Posts. Candidates Filled their Online Application Form from the Date 02.07.2019 and Submitted till the Date 22.07.2019. More Details About the Recruitment is Provided Below.
The Selection Committee Of The HPPSC Has Decided That Two Exams Will Be Conducted. First One Will Be Pre Exam While The Other Will be Mains Exam. All The Desired Candidates Filled Their Online Application Form For The Post Of Extension Officer/Inspector And For Election Kanungo. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Without Proper Knowledge of Syllabus Pattern, one can not give 100% in the exam. The Date For The Pre And Mains Exam Will Be Updated Soon. All The Candidates Should Prepare For The Exam According To The Syllabus. The Pre Exam Paper Will Be Of 200 Marks. While The Mains Exam Will Consist Of 3 Parts. First Two Of Them Will Be Of 150 Marks Each And The Third One Will Be A Question Paper Of GK Which Consist Of 200 Marks
The Selection Shall Be Made Strictly As Per Merit In The Mains Written Examination. Category Wise Merit List Will Be Formed For All The Categories. Thus The Final Selection Process For The Inspector/Extension Officer Will Consist Of Two Stage i.e,
- Preliminary Examination (MCQ Type)
- Mains Or Written Examination
Note:- There Shall Be Negative Marking In The Examination And 1/3 Of The Allotted Marks For Each Question Shall Be Deducted For Every Wrong Answer.
Minimum Required Percentage :
No candidate would be considered to have qualified the Written test unless he obtains 40% marks in aggregate in all papers and at least 35% marks in each paper.
Distribution of Marks:
The Time Duration For The Preliminary Examination, Will Be 3 Hours And Exam Paper Will Be Consist Of 200 Marks Distributed As:-

Modern History (From 1857 Onwards) Of India, Indian Culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography Of India, And Disaster Management. Environment And Gender Issues And Teaching Of Mahatma Gandhi.
Syllabus for Main Examination:-
Translation Of An English Passage Into Hindi. Explanation Of Hindi Passage In Prose And Poetry In Same Language. Composition (Essay, Idioms, Correction, Etc). History, Geography, And Socio-Economic Development Of Himachal Pradesh. Knowledge Of Current Events Of National And International Importance And Of Such Matter Of Everyday Observation And Experience In Their Scientific Aspects As May Be Expected Of An Educated Person Who Has Not Made A Special Study Of Any Scientific Subject. The Paper Will Also Include Questions On Modern History (From 1857 Onwards) Of India, Indian Culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy And Geography Of India Of Such Nature As Candidates Should Be Able To Answer Without Special Study And Question On The Teachings Of Mahatma Gandhi.
