Age Limit For HPSEB Driver Post :
The applicant should be between 18 to 45 years as on 01-04-2021.
Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to : – Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe / Other Categories (Other Backward Classes, Children / Grandchildren of Freedom Fighter of Himachal Pradesh and Economically Weaker Sections) of persons to the extent permissible under the general or special order(s) of the Himachal Pradesh Government/ HPSEBL. The upper age relaxation is also applicable to Ex-Servicemen candidates of H.P. as per provision of” relevant rules/instructions of H.P. Govt.
HPSEB Driver Pay Scale / Salary :
- Daily Wages Basis @ of Rs.336/- per day
- Rs.6400-20202+3450 Grade Pay
Education Qualification Required For HPSEB Driver Post:
- Essential: Matric Pass or its equivalent with valid Driving License for Light/Heavy vehicles & practical experience of 2 years.
- Desirable: Knowledge of customs manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in peculiar conditions prevailing in the State.
- The candidate must be a citizen of India and should be a Bonafide Himachali or candidates shall be eligible for appointment to Class-III posts(s), if he/she has passed Matriculation and 10+2 has passed from any school/ Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
