Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) Will Soon Start the recruitment of 1000+ JE Posts. Many Candidates filled there application form for Junior Engineer (JE) (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Horticulture) and etc posts. The application form is started form 20 June, 2019 to 04 July, 2019. Candidates can check the details of recruitment form the below provided link.

HSSC Junior Engineer Exam :

HSSC is going conduct a written examination for the above Vacant Posts. All the Candidates who Successfully submitted there Application form will face the Exam. Exam will be held from the –/–/2023 to –/–/2023. More Details About the Exam is Provided Below.

Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Candidates facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare”. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Junior Engineer Exam conducting by Haryana SSC.

Selection Process:

  1. Written Exam
  2. Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience.

Exam Pattern :

The Exam Pattern is as follows :

  • The Written Exam Will be Objective Type.
  • The Scheme of Marks in respect of Selection to Group C Posts in the Service Shall Comprise of total 100 Marks.
  • Objective Test Will Consist 90 Marks + 10 Marks for Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience.
  • 75% Weightage for weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, Computer, English, Hindi and concerned or relevant subject, as applicable.
  • 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana.

Note: No Information regarding the Negative Marking is Provided on the Detailed Advertisement. Candidates Are Advised to Check the Instruction on the Question Paper at the Time of Exam.

Exam Syllabus :

The Exam Syllabus is as follows :

General Awareness: Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him/ her and its application to society. The questions will be designed to test knowledge of Current Events and of such matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations /Institutions etc.

Reasoning: The syllabus of Reasoning includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. Test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc.

Maths: It will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Data Interpretation, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs etc.

Science: The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th standard level.

English/ Hindi: Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.

History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, culture etc. of Haryana related Information.

Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience

The marks for socio-economic criteria and experience shall be allocated as follows:

a. if neither the applicant nor anyperson from among the applicant’s family viz father, mother, spouse, brother, and Sonis, wasor has been a regular employee in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/StatutoryBody/Commission/Authority of Government of Haryana or any other State Government or Government of India. (5 marks)

b. if the applicant is:-

(i) a widow; or

(ii) the first or the second child and his father had died before attaining the age of 42 years: or

(iii) the first or the second child and his father had died before the applicant had attained the age of 15 years,”. (5 marks)

c. If the applicant belongs to such a denotified tribe (Vimukt Jatis and Tapriwas Jatis) or Nomadic tribe of the State of Haryana which is neither a Scheduled Caste nor a Backward Class. (5 marks)

d. Experience: One-half (=0.5) mark for each year or part thereof exceeding six month of experience, out of a maximum of sixteen years, on the same or a higher post in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/Statutory Body/Commission/Authority of Government of Haryana. No marks shall be awarded for any period less than six months. (A maximum of 8 marks)

Note:- No applicant shall be given more than 10 marks for socio economic criteria and experience under any circumstances.
