About IBPS PO Exam :

IBPS Will Conduct the Preliminary Exam on 15.10.2022, 16.10.2022 & 22.10.2022 Tentative & Main Exam On 26.11.2022. Successful Candidates Will be Called for Interview. Venue and Time for Interview will be provided later.

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

Negative Marking  – There Will Be Negative Marking of 0.25 Marks Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both–Online Preliminary and Online Main examination).

Interview

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Main examination for CRP-PO/MT-X will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organizations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interview Will be of 100 Marks. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online Main Exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively.

Final Selection – The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination of CRP-PO/MT-X and Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed. A candidate should qualify both in the Online Main Exam and Interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on authorized IBPS website.

Exam Syllabus :-

Exam IBPS PO Syllabus for CRP PO/ MT-X Exam is given below:-

Reasoning :- Focus on Comprehension Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, New Pattern Coding and de-coding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements, Decision Making, Input & Output, Logical Reasoning. Questions from Non Verbal Reasoning may ask in the Exam.

English Language :- Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Sentence Arrangements/ Word Arrangement, Comprehension & Cloze Test nothing can be out of these mentioned Topics etc. Comprehension will be lengthy & Difficult.

Quantitative Aptitude :- Questions will be asked from Simplification, Number Series, Quadratic Equations Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Data Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.

General Awareness :- Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge.
