Age Limit :
The maximum age limit for appointment by Deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Education Qualification :

| Deputy Director (Research) | Officers from Central/ State/UT Govt. or Universities; preferably from research organizations: (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; Or (ii) holding posts in the pay level 10 (Rs.56100-177500) with five years regular service; and possessing the qualifications mentioned below: (a) Ph.D. in any Social Science discipline. (b) Five years of teaching or guiding research and or five years’ experience of research administration in a reputed organization. |
| Deputy Director (Documentation) | Officers from Central/ State/UT Govt. or Universities; (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; Or (ii) holding posts in Level-10 (Rs.56100- 177500) with five years regular service; and (iii) Ph.D. in any Social Science discipline. (iv) Five years of teaching or guiding research and or five years’ experience of research administration in a reputed organization. |
| Documentation Officer | Officers from Central Govt. or Autonomous Bodies or Universities who are; holding analogous posts on regular basis; or holding posts in the pay scale of Level-6 with five years regular service; and possessing the following qualification: (a) Master’s degree with 50% marks in any Social Science discipline from the recognized University or equivalent. (b) Degree in Library Science or equivalent qualifications. |
