JCECEB Known as Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board conducts the B.Ed Entrance Competitive Examination. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board was constituted under Section 85 of Bihar Re-Constituted Act, 2000 by the Govt. vide Memo No. 374 dated 29.03.2001. The Government of Jharkhand has assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission into various Institutions in the state. J.C.E.C.E.B. presently organizes the following entrance tests annually (depends upon the approval granted by the respective Departments of Govt. of Jharkhand for the respective session.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate With 50% Marks Either In Bachelors Or In Master Degree In Science/ Social Science/ Humanity/ Commerce/ Bachelors In Engineering Or Technology With Specialization In Science And Maths With 55% Marks Or Any Other Qualification Equivalent Thereto Are Eligible For Appearing In B.Ed Combine Entrance Competitive Examination 2023.
Candidate Will Have To Chose Only One Subject (Within A Subject Category) Which He/She Have Studied In Qualifying Degree I.E Bachelor Degree Or Masters Degree For Atleast 200 Marks And Out Of Which Obtain 50% Marks In That Subject. The Subject Will Henceforth Will Referred To As Teaching Subject In The B.Ed Course.
Their Is No Restriction In Passing Year To Apply In B.Ed Course.
Final Year Candidates Can Also Apply.
Application Fee For JCECEB B.Ed Entrance Exam
- For Gen / EWS :- Rs. 1000/-
- For BC I,BC II (Jharkhand Domicile) :- Rs. 750/-
- For SC/ ST Female (Jharkhand Domicile) :- Rs. 500/-
Note : 85% of total seats reserved for university students from Jharkhand State University will be reserved, 15% seats will be open.
How To Apply For JCECEB B.Ed Entrance Exam 2023
Candidates can fill the online Application Form at the Website (https://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/) Candidates do not need to send the Hard Copy, Photo Copy of Any Document or Application Form to the respective Board. No other mode will be accepted except Online Mode.
