About Manipur Board:-
Board of Secondary Education, Manipur was established by an Act of Manipur Legislative Assembly in 1972. By the amendment of the Act in 2004, besides the academic activities, the prescription of conditions for granting recognition of standard I and VIII was also entrusted to the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur. The Board conducts public examination at the end of class X for the courses studied in class X only. The Board does not conduct any other public examination, however a common question examination at the end of class VIII will be held w.e.f. the academic session to maintain uniformity, standard and quality.
