MP Postal Circle Syllabus 2016
Madhya Pradesh Postal Circle had recently invited application to fill up the posts of Postman and Mail Guard. India Post will adopt an appropriate selection procedure under this recruitment process such as written test and skill test. The applicants shall be subjected to an Aptitude Test with total 100 maximum marks.
Exam Pattern : Scheme of Exam for Postman/ Mail Guard written test is as follows :
► The written examination will be multiple choice objective type.
► The question paper consist of four parts [Part A, Part B, Part C(i) & Part C(ii)] of 100 marks.
► Time Duration will be of 02:00 hours (120 minutes).
► There is no negative marking.

Qualifying Marks Criteria :
a. Parts A and B–Minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST and 9 marks for OBC candidates in each part.
b. Parts C (Two Segments)-Minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST and 9 marks for OBC candidates in each segment.
c. 40% marks for OC, 33 marks for SC/ST and 37 marks for OBC candidates in aggregate.
Exam Syllabus : MP Postal Circle Syllabus 2016 for Postman/ Mailguard Exam is given hereunder :
Part A (General knowledge) : Geography, Indian History, Freedom struggle, Culture and Sports, General Polity and Constitution of India, Economics, General science, Current affairs and Reasoning & Analytical ability of tenth standard.
Part B (Mathematics) : Number systems, Computation of whole numbers, Decimals and fractions, Relationship between numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ration and Proportion, Profit and loss, Simple interest, Average, Discount, Partnership, Time & work, Time & distance , Use of tables and graphs, Mensuration.
Part C(i) (English) : Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Tenses, Verbs, Synonyms & Antonyms, Vocabulary, Sentence structure, Proverbs, Phrases, question from a small unseen passage etc.
Part C(ii) (Hindi) : Shabd Pad, Kriya Bhed, Mishr & Sanyukt Vakya, Vakyo ka Rupantaran, Swar Sandhi, Alankar, Samas, Muhavare & Lokoktiyan, Ashudh Vakya Shodhan, Apathit Gadyansh.
