About Recruitment :-

NIELIT had Recently announced about the Recruitment of Scientist – ‘B, Scientific/Technical Assistant – ‘A’. The No. of Vacancy was 495. Many eligible Candidates Filled there Online Application form for these Posts. The Application Process was Conducted Till the date 26/03/2020. About Exam:-

All the eligible Candidates who filled their application form & gave the written Exam Successfully on 22 November, 2020. The written Exam was Conducted First. The Exam Will be Written Objective Type & Time Duration was 3 hours. The Exam Will be Bilingual in both Hindi & English. The question paper for the written examination will consists of 65% questions from Technical Area and 35% from Generic Area. There shall be a total of 120 objective type Questions consisting of 78 questions from Technical Area (Computer Science) and 42 questions on Generic area.     I have scored 55.5 marks in Scientific/Technical Assistant – ‘A’ but Not Qualified, my category is SC.
    Why I am not not qualified but as per notification cutoff for SCcategory is 30%. So confused. Can I expect further?

        Cut Off is basically 50% ,40%, 30% respectively for Gen, OBC and SC/ST students. But this cutoff is applicable for General and Technical scores in the paper. So, if u clear General and missout on the technical cutoff, u will not be getting qualified.

      Mukesh Eventhough u scored 55.5, Do your marks satisfy minimum cutoff of each section Aptitiue >= 12.6
      Technical >= 23.4

      Qualified if >= 12.6 +23.4 = 36

    Sir is there any chance of being selected in merit list I scored 77.75 marks in general catagory and all the YouTube channels make me freaks out as they are putting cut off above 80.

      You might get shortlisted for an interview. But this time somehow hundreds of people crossed the 80 marks margin which is somewhat unusual. That is why youtube is showing cutoff as 80 for general. Even if the name appears in merit list at the end marks matter. So, have faith that everything goes well.

          Guys even if they are calling one person each day from each category even then they could have gone through all top candidate’s documents.
          Even if they are verifying our uploaded documents then also they may have gone through.
          God knows that they are verifying.

    I think there are few students who are qualified in both sb as well as sta, that’s why may be the are verifying documents for sb and calling them for their interview. And after that only they will release merit list.
