Candidates who got seat allotted in earlier round and upgraded in this round of allotment must approach the same reporting center, only if they wish to change their option from option 2 to option 1 and do so. However, if they do not wish to change their option then they need not report. |

Candidates who got seat allotted in earlier round must also join the institute with the allotted seat or upgraded seat whichever is latest. Pay the remaining fee and attend the classes |
Candidates of round 1,2 and 3 who are not satisfied with their allotment of seat including upgraded seat and do not wish to get admitted to the allotted institute, but still wish to remain consideration for final round of allotment. |
Monday 18th to Tuesday 19th July 2017 |
Fresh allottees in third round need to pay R1,000/- as Counseling fee online through NIMCET 2017 website. They must report in person at some reporting center, show payment receipt, get documents verified, surrender the allotted seat and get the letter of reporting. Candidates who got seat allotted in earlier round and upgraded in this round of allotment, but do not wish to join the institute must approach the same reporting center, surrender the seat and provide the bank account details of the candidate/parents to the reporting center and get the letter of reporting. Initial fee will be refunded to the account number provided by the candidate at the time of surrendering after deducting, R1,000/- as counseling fee. |

Candidates who have not got seat in any round of allotment and candidates who have acted as stated in Sl No. 6 b are only eligible for final allotment round. However, the candidates who got seat in some round but not reported at that time are not eligible for final round of allotment. Candidates who have reported but later cancelled their seat are also not eligible for final round allotment |

Counseling Procedure: Candidates are required to use their login and password to fill the choices of institutes through online from their place of convenience between 09-06-2017 and 14-06-2017. Then they are required to lock their choices before 5 pm on 14th June 2017. However, choices filled by all candidates will be locked automatically by 5 pm on 14-6-2017. After locking, students can’t change their locked choices. Seat allotments will be made on the basis of his/her rank and institute choices locked by the candidates.
Candidates are required to deposit the Initial fee of Rs 10,000/- through NIMCET 2017 website only. The print out of the payment receipt need to be produce at the time of Remote reporting. The balance fee is to be paid at the time of actual admission in the respected NITs as per the fee structure mentioned in their individual website.
Important Documents: Candidates need to keep the following certificates (both original and two sets of Xerox copies) in the following order only for smooth verification of documents at the time of remote reporting in any of the participating NITs for NIMCET Counseling Schedule
► Payment receipt of the Initial Fee (Rs10,000/-) paid through NIMCET 2017 website.
► Rank Card.
► Migration Certificate.
► Transfer Certificate.
► Certificate of Category (OBC/SC/ST Caste Certificate), if applicable, issued by competent authority.
► OBC declaration, if applicable.
► OBC declaration, if applicable.
► PwD certificate in case of sub-category is PwD i.e. Person with Disabilities.
► Signed copy of locked choices.
► Admit Card.
► SSC or X Class (High School) Certificate as proof of date of birth.
► Intermediate or 10+2 Class Marks Memorandum containing list of subjects passed and marks secured.
►Intermediate or 10+2 Pass Certificate.
► Qualifying Degree Marks Statements from 1st semester/year to the recent semester/year. Sheets showing (hand-written or type-written on A4 papers by the candidate) marks secured in and maximum marks of each and every subject studied during his/her qualifying degree. Entries must be made semester-wise with sub-total for each semester. Then grand total with percentage of marks at degree level should be written at the end. Here, Marks in all the subjects including Language subjects, honours subjects, non-honours, optional subjects studied at degree level. In case of grades awarded, mention the grades with point scale.
► Qualifying Degree Provisional/Degree Certificate. ( for those who have passed Qualifying Degree).
► PwD certificate in case of sub-category is PwD Person with Disabilities.
