About Patna University:

Patna University, the first university in Bihar, was established in 1 October 1917 during the British Raj, and is the seventh oldest university of the Indian subcontinent. At that time, the jurisdiction of the university extended to Bihar, Odisha, and the Kingdom of Nepal. The university oversaw examinations for educational institutions ranging from school finals to the postgraduate levels. This continued almost for four decades, until the establishment of the Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, and the Utkal University, Bhubaneshwar. Patna University was established in the year 1917 as an affiliating and examining body.

About Patna University Entrance Exam:- (PUCET)

Patna University conducts an entrance exam every year in the month of June-July. Those Students who want to take admission in this University have to clear the entrance exam first then only they can get the admission. The last to fill the admission form was 05 Oct 2020. Most of the students have applied for the exam.

Patna University Counselling Process:

Patna University will start the admission from 13 Oct 2020. All the Candidates can check the Details on Counselling in local newspapers and also on the Official website. The Counselling and admission will be done separately in University and its constituent colleges. All the Candidates must present at the time of Counselling along with the required documents otherwise there admission will be canceled and the candidate who is next in merit will be selected. A candidate who fails to be present for counseling for admission on the date fixed by the University will forfeit his/her claim.
