Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates who are Indian Nationals for Technician Grade-I Signal & Technician Grade III. Applications must be submitted online and no other mode of submission of the same would be entertained.

RRB Technician Details Of Vacancy:-

Technician Grade-I Signal :- 183 Posts
Technician Grade III :- 6055 Posts

Age Limit For RRB Technician Post:-

(as on 01.07.2025): a)18 – 33 years for Technician Gr I Signal and b) 18- 30 years for Technician Gr III posts (Please see para 5.1 for details about age relaxations).

Educational Qualification For RRB Technician Post:-

Technician Grade-I Signal :- Bachelor of Science In Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute (OR) B.Sc. in a combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Physics/ Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute.

Three years Diploma in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of above basic streams (OR) Degree in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of above basic streams.

Technician Grade III :- Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the
trade of Fitter / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic /Instrument Mechanic / Mechanic Mechatronics / Mechanic Diesel / Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) / Welder / Machinist. (OR) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trade mentioned above.

RRB Technician Application Fee:-

1) The applicable Examination Fee is also required to be paid separately for each Pay Level.
2)Only candidates who attend CBT will get a refund of their examination fee as mentioned above

For all candidates (except categories mentioned below at Sl. No. 2). Out of this fee of ₹ 500/-, an amount of ₹ 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT.	Rs.500/
For candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC)*. (Caution to Candidates: EBC should not be confused with OBC or EWS) This fee of ₹ 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT.	Rs.250/
