RRC Ahmedabad Had Released The Notification About The Recruitment Of 229 Vacancies For The Post Of Sr. Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk. Many Interested & Eligible Candidates Filled their Online Application form for these Posts. Candidates Filled their Online Application Form from the Date 01.07.2019 and Submitted till the Date 30.07.2019. More Details About the Recruitment is Provided Below. This Was A Departmental Recruitment.

About Exam:

RRC Ahmedabad Selection Committee Has Decided That The Exam Will Be A Computer Based Test. All The Desired Candidates Filled Their Online Application Form For The Sr. Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk/Goods Guard Post. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Without Proper Knowledge of Syllabus Pattern, one can not give 100% in the exam. The Date For The  CBT Exam Will Be Updated Soon. All The Candidates Should Prepare For The Exam According To The Syllabus.

Selection Procedure:

The Selection Shall Be Made Strictly As Per Merit In The Computer-Based Examination And Passing Skill Test Wherever Prescribed And Found Fit In Prescribed Medical Category. Category Wise Merit List Will Be Formed For All The Categories. The Candidates Recommended For Appointment Should Be Fit In Prescribed Medical Category.  Thus The Final Selection Will Be Based On The Written Examination. i.e;

• Computer-Based Test (CBT) Examination

Minimum Required Percentage :

Minimum Percentage Of Marks For Eligibility In Various Categories: UR-40%, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) -30%, SC-30%, ST-25%.

Distribution of Marks:

The Computer-Based Test Will Consist Of Three Sections. Each Section Consist Of Objective Type Questions. The Exam Paper Will Be Distributed In Three Parts As-

• Mathematics
• General Intelligence and Reasoning
• General Awareness

Syllabus:

The Syllabus Pattern For The RRC Ahmedabad Junior Clerk/Trains Clerk Exam Consist Of Three Parts And They Are As Follows:-

1. General Awareness:
   Current Events Of National And International Importance, Games And Sports, Art And Culture Of India, Indian Literature, Monuments And Places Of India, General Science, And Life Science (Up To 10th CBSE), History Of India And Freedom Struggle, Physical, Social And Economic Geography Of India And World, Indian Polity And Governance- Constitution And Political System, General Scientific And Technological Developments Including Space And Nuclear Program Of India, UN And Other Important World Organizations, Environmental Issues Concerning India And World At Large, Basics Of Computers And Computer Applications, Common Abbreviations, Transport Systems In India, Indian Economy, Famous Personalities Of India And World, Flagship Government Programs, Flora And Fauna Of India, Important
   Government And Public Sector Organizations Of India, Etc.
2. General Intelligence and Reasoning:
   Analogies, Completion Of Number And Alphabetical Series, Coding And Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Similarities, And Differences, Relationships, Analytical Reasoning, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagrams, Puzzle, Data Sufficiency, Statement- Conclusion, Statement- Courses Of Action, Decision Making, Maps, Interpretation Of Graphs Etc.
3. Mathematics:
   LCM, HCF, Ratio And Proportions, Percentage, Number System, Decimals, Fractions, Elementary Algebra, Geometry, And Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics Mensuration, Time And Work, Time And Distance, Simple And Compound Interest, Profit And Loss, Etc.

Note:- There Shall Be Negative Marking In The Examination And 1/3 Of The Allotted Marks For Each Question Shall Be Deducted For Every Wrong Answer. There Is No Separate Reservation Of Posts For Persons With Benchmark Disabilities And Economically Weaker Sections.
