About SSC Constable GD Recruitment :

The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open examination for recruitment For Various posts of Constable (GD) in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NIA and SSF and Rifleman in Assam Rifles as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Staff Selection Commission will give you Pay Level–1(Rs.18,000 to 56,900) for the post of Sepoy in NCB and Pay Level-3 (Rs. 21,700-69,100) for all others posts.

SSC Constable GD Age Limit –

18-23 years as on 01-01-2023. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005 in normal course. However, after relaxation of three (03) years in upper age, the candidate should not have been born earlier than 02-01-1997.

Essential Qualification –

The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.

Note: Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as on the stipulated date will not be eligible and need not apply.

Incentive to NCC Certificate Holders: The incentive to ‘NCC Certificate’ holders will be granted at the following scales:

SSC Constable GD Physical Standards –

Physical standards laid down for the post of Constable are –
a) Height :
For Males : 170 cms.
For Females : 157 cms.
b) Chest :
For males only – Unexpanded : 80 cms.
– Expanded : Min expansion 5 cms.
c) Weight :
For males and Females : Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
c) Race (Running) :
For Males : 5 Km. in 24 Minutes.
For Females : 1.6 Km. in 8 Minute 30 Second.

Application Fee Payable –

Rupees hundred only (Rs. 100) payable through CRF stamps for off line application or SBI Challan or online payment through SBI Challan /Net banking/credit /debit cards in the case of online application.

Note : Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation, as per Government orders...

Facility of on-line application Is available From 27-10-2022 Such candidates should retain the registration number assigned to them on line for correspondence with the commission. They are not required to submit print outs of their application to the commission.
