About Tripura TET:
Teachers Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) conducts Tripura Teachers’ Eligibility Test (Tripura TET or T-TET) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of teachers in the schools of Tripura. The exam is conducted for two papers – I and II. Paper-I is for candidates who plan to teach classes I-V and paper-II is for candidates who want to teach classes VI-VIII.

Tripura TET Eligibility:
The basic Tripura TET eligibility criteria 2021 that candidates must fulfill are:
- Candidates should complete class 12th with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks
- Candidates should complete graduation with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks (only for candidates applying for paper-II)
- A degree or diploma in teacher training
- There is no prescribed age limit to appear for T-TET exam
Essential Minimum Qualifications for Graduate Teacher (FOR CLASS: IX-X):
- Graduate/Post Graduate from recognized university with at least 50% marks in either graduation or post-graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognized institution.
- Graduate/Post Graduate from recognized university with at least 45% marks in either graduation or post-graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognized institution {in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to star new course or training). Regulations 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007}.
- 4 years degree of B. A. Ed. / B.Sc. ED. from any National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognized institution.
Essential Minimum Qualifications for Post Graduate Teacher (FOR CLASS: XI-XII):
- Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized university and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) from a NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) recognized institution
- Post Graduate degree with 45% marks in relevant subject and obtained B.Ed degree (as per NCTE Regulations, 2002 or NCTE Regulations, 2007) from NCTE recognized Institutions. OR
- Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized university and B. A. Ed. /B.Sc. Ed. from any NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education ) recognized institution.
Note: (I) Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category. (II) Degree Course in Teacher Education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered.

Tripura TET Selection Process:
Tripura TET selection process includes the following stages:
- Application form: Firstly, candidates need to fill Tripura TET application form on the official website of the board
- Admit card: All candidates who have successfully applied for the exam can download their Tripura TET admit card from the official website
- Tripura TET exam: Next, candidates need to appear for their respective Tripura TET paper-I or paper-II
- Result: Tripura TET result is declared by TRBT on its official website. All candidates qualifying the exam are then awarded with Tripura TET certificate based on which they can apply for teaching jobs in different schools in Tripura
Tripura TET Exam Day Guidelines:
Important points that candidates must keep in mind on the day of Tripura TET exam are:
- Candidates must not forget to carry their Tripura TET admit card and a valid and original photo ID proof to the allotted exam centre
- Candidates should reach the allotted test centre at least two hours before the commencement of the exam. Any candidate who comes after the commencement of the test will not be allowed to enter the exam hall, informs the official website
- Candidates are not allowed to carry the following items inside the exam hall:

- So Candidates are not allowed to practice any rough work on the OMR answer sheet. Candidates should practice rough work only on the space provided along with the question booklet
- Candidates should not be found using any unfair means in the exam hall

Your admission in the test will be purely provisional. Since, pre-test verification of document is not done, candidates is required to apply online in her/his own capacity on being satisfied the terms and conditions of eligibility for T-TET 2021.
