Uttar Pradesh Police (UPP) is the police force of the state of Uttar Pradesh. UP Police is the largest police force in the world working under a single command. Each zone is headed by an officer of the rank of Inspector General of Police who is an officer of the Indian Police Service. Each Police zone is constituted by 2 to 3 Police ranges.
