Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has conducted an All India Written Exam for 440 Posts of Engineers in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication under Engineering Service Exam 2019 or ESE 2019. About Exam:
Written Exam for Indian Engineering Services ESE 2019 is schedule on 06 Jan, 2019 onwards. Examination was consist of two objective type (multiple choices) questions papers. Examination was carrying a maximum of 500 marks. Paper I was of 200 Marks with 02 Hours Time Duration. Paper II was of 300 Marks with 03 Hours Time Duration. In The Preliminary Exam Paper -II Subject was differ according differ Category. There was a negative marking of 0.33 Marks for objective type paper.

Selection Process:
The process of selection for the post shall be Written exam & Personal Interview. For qualified candidates, basis for the final merit list shall be the sum-total marks of written test and personal interview.
Candidates have to follow the given Instructions before interview:-

Candidature of the candidates is PROVISIONAL subject to their being found eligible in all respects.

Candidates have to provide their original certificates in support of their claims relating to age, educational qualifications, community, physical disability etc. at the time of the Personality Test.

In accordance with the Rules of examination all these candidates are required to fill up the Detailed Application Forms (DAF) which will be available on the Commission’s Website and submit the same ONLINE. The Detailed Application Form (DAF) is available on UPSC’s website.
Interview :
Candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test, will be conducted after 1 month from Result Declaration. The exact date of interview will be intimated to the candidates through Interview Letter.
