Sikkim PSC SI Police Pre Exam Syllabus
Sikkim Public Service Commission is fully responsible for conducting the Sub Inspector Police Exam All Over Sikkim. Sikkim PSC organizes Sub Inspector Police exam in three phases. First Phase of SI Police exam is Preliminary exam. Candidates who qualify Pre Exam will have to appear for PST/ PET. Exam Pattern & Syllabus of Sikkim PSC SI Police Preliminary exam is discussed here:-
Exam Pattern:- Preliminary Examination (Objective type) as a screening test. This examination is meant to serve as a screening test only: the marks obtained in the Preliminary examination by the candidate who is declared qualified for admission to the Main Examination will not be counted for determining his final order of merit.
- Written Exam will be of 300 Marks.
- Total Time Duration for Written exam is 2 Hours 30 Minutes.
- There will be Negative Marking in the Preliminary Exam.
Exam Syllabus:-
- Current Events of State, National & International importance.
- History of India and Indian National Movement.
- Main features of Indian Constitution.
- Panchayati Raj (local Self Government)
- Economic and social development – sustainable development, poverty, demographics main environmental, social, educational, health, rural & urban developmental programmes of Central and State Government.
- General aspect about law & order and international security.
- General Science (class X level)
- Mathematics (class X level)
- English (class X level)
NOTE:- Candidates who qualify the Pre written exam will be eligible to take part in Physical Test. Candidates who were declared qualify in the Pre Exam will be called up for Mains Written Exam.
