Orissa Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) will conduct Written exam for recruitment of posts of Small Savings Officer (Junior Grade) under Government in Finance Department. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Candidates facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare” to give their best in their exams. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern of Small Savings Officer Exam conducting by Orissa Staff Selection Commission (OSSC).
Plan of Examination :
(i) Objective type written test (OMR format) – 150 marks
(ii) Weightage on career evaluation – 30 marks
(iii) Viva-voce test – 20 marks
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for Small Savings Officer written test is as follows :
► The examination will comprise of one composite paper (objective type).
► There will be 150 questions in question paper of 150 marks.
► The time duration will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes).
► All questions have to be answered on OMR answer sheet by blackening the correct circle by black ball point pen only.

2. Geography of India
3. Indian Polity
4. Socio-economic Scenario
5. General Science
6. Environment issues
7. Human Rights issues
8. Art and Culture
9. Current Affairs
10. Arithmetic of matriculation standard
11. Basic computer knowledge & application skill
12. Numerical skill and Quantitative aptitude
13. English and Qdia language skill including comprehension of words, phrases and idioms, vocabulary, grammar and usage.
