Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) henceforth mentioned as KVS, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India had recently invited Online applications from Indian Citizens for recruitment to the Officers’ Cadre and Non-Teaching posts for the year 2014-15 and 2015-16. KVS will conduct a Written exam for recruitment of these various posts. Nowadays Competition Level become very high so Competitive Exams gets too tougher. Candidates facing critical problem of “What to prepare” and “How to prepare”. So, here we are providing the latest Syllabus & Exam Pattern for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Exam conducting by KVS.
Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) written Exam is as Follows:-
|Part-I||Language Proficiency Test||40|
|Part-II||General Awareness and Computer Literacy||60|
|Typing Test (Practical)||50|
|Computer Proficiency Test||100|
► Written Exam will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.
► The Question Paper consists of 100 Questions and 100 marks.
► The Duration of Test is 02(Two) Hours (120Minutes).
Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) written Exam is given below:-
Part I (Language Proficiency Test) :
- General English
- General Hindi
Part II (General Awareness & Computer Literacy) :
- General Knowledge & Contemporary Issues
- Logical Reasoning
- Computer Literacy
- Quantitative Aptitude Test
General English/ Hindi : Verb, preposition, adverb, subject verb agreement, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences rearrangement, fill in the blanks with articles etc., comprehension, answering questions based on unseen passage, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms usage, vocabulary & grammar, Proficiency in the language.
G.K. : In this objective of questions about general knowledge of surrounding society of the candidates to test the awareness about surrounding activities. So, candidates should must focus on affairs about India and neighbor countries. Scientific Progress/Development, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Books, Script, Capital, Currency, Sports-Athlete such as essential knowledge.
Reasoning : It will include the question of both verbal and non-verbal type. Question will be asked from analogies, similarities and and differences, problem solving, relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions, Venn diagrams, relationship concepts and Ability to observe and distinguish patterns etc.
Computer Literacy : This part is to check candidate familiarity with computer. Question will be ask from computer basic, input, output, memory, Software, BIOS, Internet, MS word, MS excel, Computer Shortcuts, Computer Architecture, Computer Abbreviations etc.
Quantitative Aptitude Test : Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.
Typing Test (Practical) : Typing Test only on computer : English – 35 w.p.m, Hindi – 30 w.p.m.
Computer Proficiency Test (Skill Test) : MS-Word, MS- Excel, MS- Access, MS- Power Point and Internet.
