The Exam Pattern is as follows:
- The Exam Will be Written Objective Type.
- The Exam will be Conducted in two Steps- First Step will be of Preliminary Examination & Second Step will be Main Examination.
- The Time Duration of Exam will be of 75 Minutes.

Exam Syllabus :
The Exam Syllabus is as Follows:
General Knowledge & Current Affairs : Questions will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general Knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity and Scientific Research, etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
General English : Questions will be aimed to test Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc
General Hindi : The questions will be designed to test the candidates‟ understanding of the languages and literature, correct use of words, phrases and idioms and ability to write the languages correctly, precisely and effectively.
Main Examination
Exam Pattern:
The Exam Pattern is as follows:
- The Main Examination will be Divided into Two Paper.
- The Time Duration for First Paper will be 02 Hours and The Time Duration for Second Paper will be 03 Hours.

Translation from English to Hindi/ Hindi to English : This paper will contain passages for translation – one passage for translation from Hindi to English and one passage for translation from English to Hindi.
Essay, Precis and Grammar (English and Hindi) : In this Exam the Question will be given to write the Essay and Precis also the Question will be based on Grammar Knowledge.
