RVUNL JE Recruitment
Rajasthan State Electricity Board has recently invited applications for the Various 1151 post of Jr. Engineers-I, Jr. Chemists & Informatics Assistant. Many Eligible Candidates filled their application form for these Post. The Process of Submitting online application form is started from 07 June 2021 & Conducted till the date of 21 June, 2021. - PART B OF THE TEST PAPER WILL BE “OMNIBUS”, WITHOUT CREATING ANY SECTION/SUB-SECTION.
- Both Part A & Part B are separately timed. Candidate can attempt any question in allotted 60 minutes for the respective part. Candidate will not be able to attempt any question from Part B while attempting Part A and vice versa.
- All the questions will have multiple choices. Out of the five answers to a question only one will be the correct answer. Candidate will have to select one answer which the candidate feels is the con-ect and that will be treated as his/ her answer to that question. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked. For every wrong answer marked, 114th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. The duration for the test is 120 minutes.
- Examination dates will be finalised depending upon availability of centres during Corona pandemic, dates of other competitive exams & entrance exams of various institutions. Such dates will be notified on websites of each Vidyut Nigam.
Note : –
- The Questions Will Be Objective Type.
- Out Of Five Answers To A Question Only One Will Be Correct Answer.
- There Will Be negative Marking Of 1/4 For Every Wrong Question.
Scheme of Written Exam will be as follows :
(a) Junior Engineer-I
- Exam shall be conducted through Online mode.
- The Exam Will be Objective Type.
- The Question Paper shall be in two parts.
- The Time Duration of Exam Will be total two(2) hours.
Part – A : 60% weightage
The standard and syllabus of the examination will be of the level of Degree in Engineering in the respective discipline.
Part – B : 40% weightage
(i) Reasoning & Mental Ability
(ii) Mathematics
(iii) General Knowledge & Everyday Science
(iv) Hindi General
(v) English General
(b) Junior Chemist
- The Exam shall be conducted through Online mode.
- The Exam Will be Objective Type.
- The Question Paper shall be in two parts.
- The Time Duration of Exam Will be total two(2) hours.
Part–A : 60% weightage
The standard and syllabus of the examination will be of the level of Post Graduation in Chemistry/ Graduation Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Part – B : 40% weightage
(i) Reasoning & Mental Ability

(iii) General Knowledge & Everyday Science
(iv) Hindi General
(v) English General
(c) Informatics Assistant
The Exam shall be conducted in two Phases as follows :
Phase – I
- The Computer Based Exam shall be conducted through Online mode.
- The Exam Will be Objective Type.
- The Question Paper shall be in two parts.
- The Time Duration of Exam Will be total two(2) hours.
Part – A : 60% weightage
(i) Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, Major development in the field of Information Technology.
(ii) Overview of the Computer System including input-output devices, pointing devices, and scanner.
(iii) Introduction to Operating System, Word Processing (MS-Word), Spread Sheet Software (MS-Excel), Presentation Software (MS Power Point), DBMS Software (MA-Access).
(iv) Representation of Data (Digital versus Analog, Number System – Decimal, Binary & Hexadecimal), Introduction to Data Processing, Concepts of files and its types.
(v) Introduction of Internet Technology and Protocol. LAN, MAN, WAN, Search Service/ Engines. Introduction to online & offline messaging. World Wide Web Browsers, Web publishing, Creation & maintenance of Websites, HTML, Interactivity Tools, Multimedia and Graphics, Voice Mail an d Video Conferencing, Introduction to e-Commerce.
(vi) Security, Protecting Computer Systems from viruses & malicious attacks, Introduction to Firewalls and its utility, Backup & Restoring data.
(vii) Algorithms for Problem Solving, Introduction to C Language, Principles and Programming Techniques, Introduction of Object Oriented Programming (OOPs) concept, Introduction to “ Integrated Development Environment ” and its advantages.
Part – B : 40% weightage

Phase–II Qualifying Typing Speed Test on Computer :
(a) Hindi Typing – 15 Minutes
(b) English Typing – 15 Minutes
RVUNL JE Minimum Qualifying Marks:
(i) UR category candidates – 30% marks
(ii) SC/ST/BC/MBC/Ex-servicemen/PWD(PH) category candidates – 20% marks

Analytical Reasoning, Number series, Letter series, Odd man out, Coding-Decoding, Shapes and Mirror Images, Clocks, etc.
Mathematics :

General Knowledge & Everyday Science :
Current events, including issues of State (Rajasthan), National & International importance, Persons & Places in recent news, Game & Sports, Science, Indian History, Civics, Geography, Indian Polity, etc., with special reference to Rajasthan.
Hindi General :
Hindi Grammar and language (Class-X level).
English General :
English Grammar and language (Class-X level).
