Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (RINL-VSP) known as Vizag Steel has recently announced about the recruitment of 559 Posts of Junior Trainee & Operator cum Mechanic Trainees (OCM Trainee). Many Candidates filled the application form for these vacant posts. The Process of Submitting Online Application Form is Commenced from the Date 01 August 2019 & Conducted till the last date 21 August 2019. About Exam :

Candidates filled there application form successfully and now they are waiting for their exam. The RINL-VSP Will announce the Exam Date Separately for above vacant posts. Online Test will be conductedsimultaneously in multiple sessions at Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kakinada, Mumbai,Patna, Ranchi, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram.

Exam Pattern : The Exam Pattern is as follows:

• The Exam will be of Compiter Based Type.
• Test will consist two segments and duration of the test will be 2 hours:
• Segment-I:75 Questions pertaining to General Aptitude (Arithmetic, Reasoning, Data interpretation etc.), General Awareness/General Knowledge and knowledge of English,
• Segment – II: 75 Questions pertaining to respective technical subject.
• Written exam paper will be set Bilingual English & Telugu. except the questions of Knowledge in English, which will be exclusively in English only.

Exam Syllabus : The Syllabus of this exam is as follows:

General Aptitude

English :

The questions will be asked from the topics such as Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/ Detecting Miss-spelt words, Idioms and Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement if Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Close Passage and Comprehension Passage.

General Awareness:

Question will be asked from Indian History, Indian Polity, Current Events, Geography, Economy etc. Focus will be on Current national & International events, banking, sports etc.

General Knowledge :

Culture and Religion, Soil, Rivers, Mountains, Ports, Inland Harbours, Freedom Movement, Sports : championships/Winners/Terms/No. of Players, Defence, Wars and Neighbours, Current Affairs, Important National Facts about India, Heritage and Arts, Dance, History, Languages, Capitals and Currencies, National : Bird/ Animal/ Sport/ Flower/ Anthem/ Song/ Flag/ Monuments, Eminent Personalities, Common Names, Full forms and Abbreviations, Discoveries, Diseases and Nutrition, Award and Authors.

General English: Passage, Preposition, Correction of sentences, active passive voice, direct indirect sentences, Verbs/Tense/Non Finites, Punctuation, Substituting phrasal verbs for expression, Synonyms and Antonyms, Use of adjective, Compound preposition, Determiners, Use of pronouns.

Telugu : This Question will be asked from the regular uses of Telugu language and its proficiency. Candidate must know about the fundamental of Telugu language.

For Mechanical : Computer Integrated Manufacturing & Design, Engineering Materials, Engineering Mechanics, Fluid Machines, Inventory Control, Machine Design, Management Information System, Meteorology and Inspection, Product design and Development, Production/ Manufacturing Engineering, Strength of Materials, Theory of Machines, Thermodynamics, Mass and Heat Transfer, Operations Research, Industry Safety, Industrial Engineering & Management.

For Electrical : Electronics Devices, Utilization of Electrical Energy, Electromagnetic Theory, Power Electronics & Drives, Electrical Instrumentation, Power System Protection, Power System Analysis & Control,Analog and Digital, Power Systems.
